Both kids are sleeping right now so I have a little break to write in my blog.
I took Brady in today to be checked and wouldn’t you know it he has a double ear infection. Chloe told Brady before we left to the doctor, “Brady you are going to get some vitamin (what we call IV fluid) water to make you feel better and the blood work will only a hurt for a minute. It is to make you feel better and take bunny with you.” Anyways, they put in Brady on Zithromax and he had his 1st dose today so hopeful he’ll start feeling better real soon.
Chloe is doing a lot better and is eating. I told her, “Chloe you’ve been like a hurricane since we have been home. Every room you go in you make a mess.” She replied, “Mommy I have to catch up on playing with my toys they missed me playing with them.”
Boy this Flu episode with the kids reminds me of Last Christmas and New Years both my kids had pneumonia. We spent the holiday at home with our children. I was thankful that Chloe and Brady did not end up in the hospital. It took Chloe 3 weeks to get over the pneumonia.
My husband took the afternoon off to help me with the kids. I was on a mission to disinfect my house with bleach and nothing was going to prevent me from doing it. I started with the kitchen; everything I could find I took water and bleach to it. I was going to battle and I was going to win the war against GERMS. I also wiped down all the kids toys. I had to explain to Chloe that we had to stop playing for a while so mommy can wipe away the germs so she won’t get sick again. Poor baby she washed her hands a lot today and used a lot of gel sanitizer because she knew her baby brother was sick.
Here is some helpful information on how to clean and disinfect germs that I got off a website.
CLEANING AND DISINFECTION

CLEANING AND DISINFECTION
Recipe for Bleach Disinfecting Solution (For use in bathrooms, diapering areas, etc.)
1/4 cup bleach 1 gallon of cool water
OR
1 tablespoon bleach 1 quart cool water
Add the household bleach (5.25% sodium hypochlorite) to the water.
Recipe for Weaker Bleach Disinfecting Solution (For use on toys, eating utensils, etc.)
1 tablespoon bleach 1 gallon cool water
Add the bleach to the water.
A solution of bleach and water loses its strength very quickly and easily. It is weakened by organic material, evaporation, heat, and sunlight. Therefore, bleach solution should be mixed fresh each day to make sure it is effective. Any leftover solution should be discarded at the end of the day. NEVER mix bleach with anything but fresh tap water! Other chemicals may react with bleach and create and release a toxic chlorine gas.
Keep the bleach solution you mix each day in a cool place out of direct sunlight and out of the reach of children. (Although a solution of bleach and water mixed as shown in the accompanying box should not be harmful if accidentally swallowed, you should keep all chemicals away from children.)
If you use a commercial (brand-name) disinfectant, read the label and always follow the manufacturer's instructions exactly.

I like your new page. Doesn't it feel like it never ends with the kids? I just had a long week and it will probably be a long month. We are taking Ryan at the end of the month to talk to a doctor about removing his tonsils. Hopefully that will help him. He weights as much as a 2 year old and he is 4 and 1/2.
I am glad to hear Chloe is getting better, make sure to take care of yourself too. Monica
